Atlantic Salmon and Arctic Char Traditional Knowledge Report

Project Description
The Torngat Secretariat is seeking qualified candidates to complete a Char and Salmon Traditional Knowledge Report. The Secretariat initiated the documentation of Inuit knowledge of Salmon and Char in Nunatsiavut in 2009. A total of 31 interviews were conducted with knowledge-holders which were video-recorded and transcribed. The video footage has been edited into a 30 minute documentary "A Legacy for Life" and several short youtube videos that can be found on the Torngat Secretariat youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9NBSXRpvwezfmzm6N69kOA
